Aloha Spirit | Island Guide of Hawaii | Luxe Travel

Aloha!

Apart from being one of the first words, Luxe Travel Insiders will hear upon landing on the islands, "aloha" holds a deeper meaning than just hello. It refers to many things including goodbye and love. The aloha spirit comes from the Hawaiian heart regardless of one's ethnic heritage. The key is the hear instead of the body that carries the spirit of Aloha. Aloha is the way of life in this merry state, one that promotes love and harmony.

There are 6 major islands to explore: Kauai, Oahu, Molokai, Lanai, Maui and Hawaii Island. You'll find each island has its own distinct personality and offers unique adventurous experience such as discovery of live volcanoes & swimming with Manta ray or giant turtle.

So the question is which island or islands to visit?

O'ahu

There is more to see and do than is possible in one visit - but it's fun to try. Between cosmopolitan Honolulu, the great resort areas of Waikiki, Ko Olina and Turtle Bay, and the laid-back vibe and natural island beauty of the North Shore and Windward side, it's easy to lose yourself in the island lifestyle.
