The devil is in the detail! The Whitby Hotel is a celebration of contemporary art and design. Situated in the heart of upper midtown Manhattan, it is second New York Hotel opened by Tim and Kit Kemp, founders of Firmdale Hotel. There are 86 individually designed bedrooms and suites, many with a private terrace and stunning views of the Manhattan skyline. Interiors have been designed by Kit Kemp, acclaimed for her individual and unique way of arranging spaces with a colourful and carefree spirit. There is also The Whitby Bar and Restaurant, a Drawing Room in mid-18th century style with an elegant fireplace and bespoke library collection, three beautifully designed private event rooms as well as a 130 seat state-of-the-art cinema.
